Canadian GP

The Canadian GP started in the wet and after the start Russell held first place. all except Haas rode on tires in the transitional conditions, so Haas literally flew at the beginning.

Even before the start, Ricciardo moved in his place and received a 5-second penalty, and after the start he did not keep his 5th place.

Contact after the start took place between Perez and Gasly, who then almost spun.

Leclerc struggled a lot after the failed qualification and had to retire due to problems with the power unit.

In lap 6, Logan Sargeant crashed but was able to continue, then Lando Norris took the lead. however, on lap 25, Sargeant crashed again and the safety car had to be on the track. Norris didn't have time to go to the pits and had to go there a lap later, thus falling to 3rd place.

The drivers then gradually switched to dry tires, Norris tried an overcut, which only worked for Russell.

In the 53rd lap, the safety car had to go on the track again due to Alex Albon's accident. The Mercedes drivers took advantage of this and went for new tires, after the restart Verstappen started to move away and the Mercedes started to overtake Piastri, who was followed by Hamilton and then by Russell, who also got ahead of Hamilton
