This week will be all about motorsport for two reasons: Formula 1 cars will return to the track for pre-season testing in Bahrain, and not far from here in Qatar, the hypercars and LMGT3 cars in the WEC series will be seen in the first race of the season, the 1812km Qatar.
Formula 1
After the livery reveal at London's O2 Arena at F1 75, we are moving to Bahrain for the pre-season testing of Formula 1 cars. The teams will have 3 full days of testing, where they will be able to try out their brand new cars, but don't expect to find out the real speed of the cars, teams traditionally won't want to show their true speed to their opponents right away, so expect slower times and less revved engines. You can watch the full test on F1 TV from 7am to 4pm UK time. Then see you in Australia in 3 weeks for the first race of the season

WEC
The WEC endurance racing series is also coming to life, with a two-day prologue behind it and the first race of the season on 1812km will be held at the Qatar Circuit this weekend. We have two interesting cars on the grid, one of them is the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar from the Heart of Racing team, which you definitely won't miss, or rather you won't miss its sound, because this hypercar has a V12 engine! The other car is the Mercedes LMGT3 class from the Iron Lynx team, this German brand will be on the grid for the first time since 1999.
