More pit-stops for Monaco GP?

The Formula 1 commission met today and approved several changes.

The Formula 1 Commission today approved tougher front wing flex tests, the completion of the driver cooling system and the increase in the number of mandatory pit stops at the Monaco GP.

The future of the Monaco Grand Prix has been under discussion for some time now, with the race itself often being boring and the results usually decided on Saturday during qualifying. The commission has therefore agreed to increase the number of mandatory pit stops at the Monaco Grand Prix, which should add some excitement to the race itself. The proposals will be further discussed in the coming weeks.

However, the details are not yet clear. The rules do not clearly state the number of pit stops, but a driver must use at least two different tire compounds during the race, logically at least one pit stop. It is expected that the change for the Monaco GP would include mandatory two pit stops or the use of all three tire compounds.
