Formula 1 has announced that the Spa circuit will host races until 2031, but there will only be four races there, in 2026, 2027, 2029, and 2031, due to a rotation system that will rotate some circuits.

Formula 1 has been talking about this solution for some time now, due to the increasing interest of circuits to host F1 races. This way we could see more circuits in F1 while not losing the traditional European circuits.

Spa has been hosting races since the beginning of Formula 1 itself, and this circuit is one of the oldest, including Silverstone, Monza, and Monaco. Spa is not the only Belgian circuit where F1 has been held, with grand prix races held at Zolder and Nivelles, for example.
