Formula 1 is currently in its month-long summer break, but that doesn’t apply to DTM, which returns to the track after a brief pause—this time at the German Nürburgring. As usual, we can look forward to two qualifying sessions and two races: one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

At the Norisring, it was Jordan Pepper who dominated the Saturday race, while Sunday’s win went to Thomas Preining in his striking yellow Porsche. The current championship leader, however, is Lucas Auer behind the wheel of a Mercedes. Just seven points behind in second is the aforementioned Thomas Preining, with Jordan Pepper in third on equal points. Right behind them, just one point back, are Jack Aitken and Maro Engel in fourth and fifth, which only highlights how close this championship really is.

The entire race weekend is streamed for free on the DTM YouTube channel.
