Before the season, every fan of motorsport, but also of sport in general, has some predictions about what might happen. I am no exception, and that is why I have written down mine for you.

1. Carlos Sainz on the podium with Williams

Carlos Sainz, as we already know, is moving from Ferrari, where Hamilton will replace him, to Williams. There is a significant performance gap between these teams, so we cannot expect Carlos to fight for victory, but if the weather and circumstances come together, even the team that is losing to the top can find itself on the podium. We saw a similar situation in Brazil, for example, when both Alpina cars, who took a risk in unpredictable weather, got on the podium, which worked out for them. So, thanks to his experience and talent, and with the help of luck, Carlos could lead his Williams to the podium. Williams's podium was in 2021 at the Belgian Grand Prix.

2. Ferrari to win the constructor title

It was a close between the teams last year, with Ferrari trailing McLaren by just 14 points at the end of the season. With the arrival of Fred Vasseur, Ferrari seems to be on the right trajectory to become world champions. As we already know, they have signed Lewis Hamilton for next year, so the team can benefit from his wealth of experience, which could be a big help.

3. Lando Norris will become world champion

Lando Norris won his first race last year and then managed to make it difficult for Verstappen on his way to 4 titles, thus important experience of racing at the front of the field that he can use next year. And even with the help of McLaren, which should have a decent pace next year, Lando could become world champion.

4. Antonelli will surprise us with his speed and will be on the podium several times

Andrea Kimi Antonelli will be the third youngest F1 driver, ahead of Max Verstappen, who debuted at 17, and Lance Stroll, who debuted at 18. Kimi drove his first season in F2 last year and will sit in the cockpit of a Mercedes factory car the following year. His career has not been long, but it has been very successful. In any case, his teammate this year will be George Russell, who managed to really torment even Lewis Hamilton himself, and Kimi will not have it easy at all. But he will reach several podiums, but he will still have to wait for victory.

5. Liam Lawson will win at least one race

Liam Lawson made his debut in 2023, when he replaced the injured Daniel Ricciardo, and this year he replaced him after the Singapore Grand Prix. In the meantime, he has shown that he can adapt quickly and the speed is there. Among other things, he has shown it not only in F1 but also in Japanese Super Formula, DTM or F2. This year he will stand next to Max Verstappen. In his place, Pierre Gasly, Alex Albon or even Sergio Perez burned out in front of him, in any case, Liam is adapting to the complex Redbull car and can win at least one race in the upcoming season.

6. Lewis will finish ahead of Leclerc by no more than 20 points

Lewis is moving to Ferrari and his new teammate will be Charles Leclerc, the two drivers will be very evenly matched throughout the season, Leclerc will have a slight edge in qualifying but the race will be the opposite. At the end of the season, Lewis will finish ahead of Leclerc, but the points difference between them will not be more than 20 points.
