Lewis Hamilton arrived at the Ferrari factory on Monday morning, where he was to meet the entire Ferrari team, then he was expected to meet with team principal Frederic Vasseur, with whom he has worked before in his time in the F3 Euro Series or GP2, as well as Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna, Pier Ferrari and his new race engineer Riccardo Adami, who previously worked with Carlos Sainz. He also greeted the fans who were impatiently waiting outside the factory, just to see the seven-time world champion. He was then expected to work on his new seat and drive in the simulator and of course a tour of the Ferrari factory.
"There are some days that you know you'll remember forever and today, my first as a Ferrari driver, is one of those days.
"I've been lucky enough to have achieved things in my career I never thought possible, but part of me has always held on to that dream of racing in red. I couldn't be happier to realize that dream today.
"Today we start a new era in the history of this iconic team, and I can't wait to see what story we will write together." Lewis wrote on his social media post.

Lewis was scheduled to make his first ever Ferrari test at the Fiorano circuit on Wednesday, with fans already lining the circuit from the early hours of the morning, waiting for the newcomer to take his first drive in the red car. It was a TPC test with the 2023 car, completing a total of 30 laps. In the afternoon, it was Charles Leclerc's turn.
"I’ve been lucky enough to have many firsts in my career, from the first test to the first race, podium, win and championship, so I wasn’t sure how many more firsts I had.
"But driving a Scuderia Ferrari car for the first time this morning was one of the best feelings of my life." Hamilton Said.
"When I started the car up and drove through that garage door, I had the biggest smile on my face. It reminded me of the very first time I tested a Formula 1 car, it was such an exciting and special moment, and here I am, almost twenty years later, feeling those emotions all over again."

After his test, he also went to greet the fans, Tifosi, who were besieging the circuit.
"I already knew from the outside how passionate the Ferrari family is, from everyone in the team to the tifosi," He said. "But to now witness it first-hand as a Ferrari driver has been awe-inspiring.
"That passion runs through their veins and you can’t help but be energised by it. I’m so grateful for the love I have felt from everyone in Maranello this week, we have a lot of work to do but I can’t wait to get started."
