Mclaren dominated this year's race in the Netherlands. Lando won his second career race.
In Saturday's qualifying, Lando took the first place at the start, but in the first corner he lost the lead when the local Max Verstappen overtook him, but he didn't stay in first place for long, so Lando overtook him after a few laps and kept the lead until the finish line. He won by a stunning 22.896s, which is the most this season, even more than Verstappen's lead in Bahrain. Lando's teammate Oscar finished in P4 and Mclaren reduced Redbull's lead in the Constructor's championschip to 30 points, which means we still have a lot to look forward to.
Redbull only takes second place from the Netherlands, which was secured by Max Verstappen, Checo finished in P6. Redbull had problems with their car's understeer all weekend and is no longer the fastest car on the track.
Ferrari can be satisfied because they took the podium place thanks to Leclerc and we certainly didn't expect them to finish this high before the race weekend. Carlos didn't do well in qualifying where he didn't make it to Q3 and had to go through the backfield and in the end it was a solid P5 for him. We mustn't forget that Ferrari is going to Monza, which is already in a week, with a big package of improvements.
It wasn't a very successful weekend for Mercedes, Lewis couldn't make it to Q3 in qualifying, but Russell started from P4 and was even in TOP3 for a while, but with the last pitstop it was only P7 and Lewis P8 in the race, we definitely tipped them higher. because Mercedes looked solid in the racing simulations.
We can't forget Pierre Gasly either, who managed to finish P9 with his not very fast Alpine and provided us with entertainment for most of the race, Aston Martin and Fernando Alonso round out the TOP 10.
We won't have to wait long and F1 will return to Monza in a week, where I'll be there, so you can follow my social media so you don't miss anything! IG: f1pit_lane
