Australian GP

-Ferrari is celebrating a double in Australia, the third victory in his career was claimed by Carlos Sainz, who only got into the car 16 days after the appendix operation and managed to win. Sainz thus stopped Verstappen's winning streak again.

-Redbull has to swallow a hot pill because MAX had to retire right at the start of the race due to a brake system failure, MAX's last DNF in the race dates back to GP Australia 2022. His teammate Pérez only finished P5. So Charles Leclerc loses only 4 points to Max in the championship, but we can expect him to increase this lead again in Japan.

-Mercedes has perhaps the worst start to the season ever. they are currently fifth in the championship, and they have a car that they don't understand. Lewis qualified P11 and immediately had to retire due to engine failure. Although George fought for P6, he had an accident at the end of the race, so the team did not gain a single point! Mercedes had a really dark weekend.

-The McLarens surprised me, before the weekend I would not have guessed that they would end up on the podium and in fourth place. At one point it seemed that Piastri, as an Australian driver, could stand on the podium, but then came the team's order to release the position to a faster Lando. With this, the team secured 27 points and thus the third place in the championship.

-Aston Martin was not on the podium, but they still got 14 points.

-In VCARB, he must have mixed feelings, yes Tsunoda secured the first points of the season for the team, but on the other hand there is Daniel Ricciardo, who finished P18 in qualifying and only P12 in the race and is significantly losing to Tsunoda, even a few weeks ago he was a candidate for a seat at Redbull, but now he is fighting for a seat at RB.

-Haas had a very successful race, both their cars finished in the points thanks to several retirements, but the points are still counted! Overall, Haas is in P7 with 4 points, but RB also has 4 points.

-Williams will want to forget about this weekend, especially Albon crashed in practice and the team didn't have a replacement chassis, so they decided to give him Sargeant's car and only one car will go, Albon was therefore under pressure to deliver some points, although they weren't very far, but even so P11.
