Ferrari won again after a week, but this time with Carlos Sainz, who will move to Williams next year and we may have seen his last victory for some time. Leclerc was in second position and Ferrari was going for the third double this season, but in the last corner he made a mistake that cost him second place, he then reached the finish line in third place. Not only that Ferrari scored another victory, but especially important points for the Constructors' Championship, at this moment we can really talk about Ferrari being a serious candidate for the title, they are in second place in front of Redbull and they lose only 29 points to the first Mclaren

Mclaren leaves Mexico with only second place secured by Lando Norris. And as it was in Texas, so in Mexico, Lando and Max did not do without controversy on the track, which was caused by two maneuvers. The first was in turn number 4, where Lando tried to overtake Max on the outside (similar to Austin) but he pushed him off the track and Lando had to shorten the corner, anyway Lando was the first at the apex of the corner this time, thus Max earned a 10s penalty . The second, probably even bigger controversy, came in corner number 7/8, when Max tried to overtake Lando on the inside, in any case, neither of them had the chance to pass this corner next to each other and both went off the track, there was even a slight contact. with that, Max secured another 10s. which meant 2x 10s, which stopped him at the pit stop and then he had to get through the starting field, it didn't cause him such a problem and at the end of the race he finished P6, which is not a bad result considering the circumstances, but he lost 10 points to Lando in the fight for title.

On the other hand, their teammates didn't have the best weekend, Oscar couldn't get out of Q1 in qualifying and had to start from P17 and finished P7 at the finish, Checo didn't please the home fans when he finished P18 in qualifying and crossed his position on the grid even before the start of the race for which he was given a 5s penalty, although he had a good start, but then came into contact with Lawson and he damaged his car, and at the finish he ended up in P17.

Mercedes probably maximized their points gain, George P5 and Lewis P4, fought hard on the track and kept us entertained for a while. Their upgrades from Austin, which only Lewis had installed, then don't quite work as expected, and we'll see if they manage to tune their car in Brazil, which is also Lewis' home race, by the way.
let's not forget the performances of Haas, who again managed to finish with both cars in the top ten, Nico P9 and Kevin P7, thus Haas consolidated its 6th position in the Constructors' Championship. Pierre Gasly rounded out the top ten.
